Its not often that my girls actually let me take photos of them – most of the time they see they camera and go running. Its amazing that I take kids' portraits all the time but just can't seem to get my own to cooperate. It must be that they know all my tricks!
However, I discovered this weekend that the massive fallen tree trunk from Thomas Jefferson's Monticello that has been laid to rest at the bottom of the Monticello walking trail gave them inspiration for (a few) shots. I had so much fun there that I came back there the next day for a client's family portraits. Stay tuned, those should be up in a couple of days.
